Pokémon GO Community Day Promotes Ralts Encounters

Pokémon GO

Pokémon GO is probably the only mainstream mobile game that actively invites you to explore the world around you while gamifying it to enrich your reality. Pokémon GO Community Day goes a step further in enticing you to go outside.

If you still feel like your community is safe, Pokémon GO’s August update introduces a special Pokémon you can catch in the wilds — Ralts, a dual-type Psychic/Fairy Pokémon introduced in Generation III.

Ralts is quite unique in its appearance. A ghost-like humanoid Pokémon with a green bowl-cut and a white body that looks more like oversized pajamas. The red protruding horns you see in the middle of its green bowl-cut is what Ralts uses to read emotions — both from people and other Pokémon. If it senses that you are in a good mood, it may approach you.

The chance of encountering Ralts is only open inside a short time window each month — between 4 and 7 PM — starting from August 3.

There is also a chance you will be able to learn a new move for Ralts, or for its Evolution. On top of that, you can accrue the ever-useful Community Day bonuses.

Keep in mind that, to learn the new move for Ralts, you must catch (or evolve) it only during Community Day time frame: 4 PM – 7 PM. Therefore, using fast TMs (Technical Machines) and Charged TMs will not grant you the exclusive move during that period.

Lastly, don’t forget to take advantage of many social media platforms to find your local Trainers. Whether you are on WhatsApp, Discord, Facebook, or Slack, you can just type in “Pokémon GO” to find the most active local Trainer community.
