Epic free-roaming Western video game Red Dead Redemption 2 can already be pre-loaded on the Rockstar Launcher in anticipation of a November 5 launch.
Nowadays, it is rare that PC gamers can be legitimately envious of their console compatriots — but Rockstar’s latest title was one of those special cases.
Indeed, after the slow collapse of Bioware in the wake of Mass Effect: Andromeda and Anthem, and the continued embarrassment of Fallout 76, Rockstar Games remains standing as a studio dedicated to making epic games with top-notch production values across the board that are unmatched by any other gaming studio.
Red Dead Redemption 2 allows you to go on heists, experience shootouts against rival gangs, go hunting, utilize horseback exploration, and complete countless quests of the Wild West. Your actions are framed within an honor system that tracks all your choices and deeds. More importantly, let’s not forget about RDR2’s emergent properties — in line with the GTA franchise.
Red Dead Redemption 2: PC Features
The PC conversion will not merely be technical. We will get new guns, new missions, and even new horses. To put it into numbers, PC gamers will have an enriched experience with:
- Two new treasure maps.
- Three new bounty hunter missions.
- A larger quest dubbed “To the Ends of the Earth.”
- A new type of pistol, repeater, and other lethal surprises.
- A greater selection of horses.
You might have noticed from gameplay footage that Red Dead Redemption 2 is an exceedingly beautiful game, which leads us to system requirements:
- At least 150GB of storage space.
- GTX 1060 or RX 480 at a minimum for decent framerates and visual settings.
- At least 8GB of RAM
- Starting at Intel Core i5 2500K or AMD FX 6300 to not bottleneck your GPU.
Pre-load Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC now in preparation for launch on November 5th.
