TEPPEN is a card-game collaboration between Capcom and GungHo online, a company that is known for the development of Ragnarok online, and features a familiar face from some of Capcom’s longest-running franchises.
Developed in collaboration with GungHo online, TEPPEN is a card-based battle game for mobile devices and features a diverse cast of popular Capcom characters.
The game pits players from all around the globe against one another in card battles that are both strategic and fast-paced. The game also immerses players directly into the thick of battle, where a deep, original story unfolds around lovingly-drawn characters from popular series such as Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, and Street Fighter.

This amazing collaboration brings together Capcom’s brands, which are well-recognized by gamers all around the globe, and GungHo. Despite the latter being a little bit unknown, it has built a reputation in the mobile gaming industry.
Capcom claims to be committed to delivering a quality product by taking advantage of its best-known franchises and promising a long follow-up life to the game.
Furthermore, Capcom said that it has plans to increase its business foundation by accumulating know-how in the mobile market and will continue releasing mobile games — both with the help and support of third parties and independently.
TEPPEN is an innovative proposal which undoubtedly wants to offer new experiences with well-known franchises. It is our opinion that it deserves an opportunity — even if it is up against some stiff (and well-established) competition from the likes of Hearthstone and Gwent. It is currently available as a free-to-play game with in-game game purchases in both Google Play and the iOS App Store.
